Price depends on acreage, how thick the trees and brush are, the terrain, how easily equipment can reach the site, and what happens to the material once it is cut. That is why we walk the property before quoting. Estimates are free, and you get a clear scope before any work begins.

Forestry mulching grinds standing brush and smaller trees in place and leaves the material on the ground as mulch, so there is less hauling, less burning, and less ground disturbance. Traditional clearing removes trees, stumps, and root material to open the site down to dirt, which is what you want before construction, pasture, or major grading. Many properties use both in different areas.

It depends on the method and the site. Mulching leaves ground cover behind and typically has nothing to haul. On clearing jobs the material may be piled, burned where conditions and local rules allow, or hauled off. We go over how debris will be handled as part of the estimate so there are no surprises.

Timing depends on our current schedule, the size of the job, and ground conditions. Wet weather moves dirt work and grading around. Call or send an estimate request and we will tell you honestly where you would fall on the schedule.

The property location, roughly how many acres are involved, what you want the land to become, how equipment can get in, and any known problem spots like standing water, washouts, steep ground, or buried utilities. Photos or a pin drop help a lot.

Dry ground is the biggest factor. Grading, driveways, and drainage go best when the site is not saturated. Clearing and mulching can be done year round, though visibility and access are better once vegetation has died back. Hunting-property work (shooting lanes, food-plot areas, trails, firebreaks, and firelanes) is usually scheduled in late summer and early fall ahead of the season.

Yes. A good bit of our work is on established lots where careful equipment handling matters as much as horsepower. We plan machine access and staging up front to protect yards, structures, fences, and shorelines, and we talk through those constraints while walking the site.
